Based on the motion picture script and subsequent musical of the same name, No Dark Clouds was initially written while the author was living in India observing begging children in the streets of Bombay, Pune, Bangalore, and Madras. Coupled with the fact that he taught special education for seventeen years in a public school system in California, the novel brings an integration of the life of Jesus and the needs of real children today. It is the belief by the author that all who read the novel and invest the time to do the study guides and website activities will gain insightful knowledge of Scripture and how to relate it  to everyday life.
